I was walking past a hostel after work one night near fenway. There were some kids outside that were my age and a friend I was with asked where they were from. They said Ireland. I said I was Irish too, and they gave me a weird look. I explained to them that my family was from Ireland. It's funny how this country is made up of a bunch of mixed nationalities.. yet we're all American. The Irish kids were Irish and native to Ireland.. I'm not native to Ireland but still Irish.. does that make me nottt really too Irish? just a thought.

but a lot of folks are just really good at finding the ways in which we're different, rather than that which shows how we're all the same :D
